Our history

1961
Bimsa Foundation (Market Research Bureau, SA) by Don César Ortega Gómez, pioneer of market research and public opinion in Mexico.

1962-1966
Foundation and consolidation of the first Mexican company for market research and information services for the construction industry.

1967
The first Market Map of Mexico City is published

1976
Birth of Bimsa Comunicaciones (Today Bimsa Reports)to serve exclusively the construction industry. We started publishing books and databases of material costs and unit prices.

1980-1989
Arrival of the second generation with the arrival of César Ortega de la Roquette. MOBIMEX (Bimsa-Mexico Econometric Model) is launched New technologies are adopted and operational capacities are strengthened.

1990 - 2000
Internationalization and presence in mass media; Strategic alliances and partnerships are established with companies in the United States, Canada and Europe.

2000 - 2006
